Malaysian company Genting launch online casino with software provider Playtech
Genting International PLC a Malaysian gaming group has recently made its first steps to becoming involved in the online gambling business.
Genting International recently announced the launch of CircusCasino.com, an online casino made possible with some help from Playtech . The casino will be operated by Genting Stanley Alderney LTD. However, only individuals from the UK, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands will be able to play for real money.
Isle of Man-based online gambling software provider Playtech Limited has signed a licensing agreement with Genting International to supply its poker and casino content for the CircusCasino.com Internet offering.
Genting, which also owns the Stanley chain of land-based casinos in the UK, launched its first online casino on Monday through its Genting Stanley Alderney subsidiary.
The agreement also includes the provision of Playtech’s casino and poker products to other brands from Genting but no financial details were disclosed.
