Filipino Poker Tour

Another high paying event that is sure to catch your attention is the Filipino Poker Tour. The event is once again sponsored by Pokerstar.com. Pokerstars is acclaimed as one of the most trusted poker sites today that boasts an approximate of ten million members.

Pokerstars is banking on the success of Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT), which was held in Manila last year. The strategy of Pokerstars is to instill interest in the public, using the PAGCOR-Sanctioned tour with the launch of its TV show for more exposure. Winners of the satellite tourneys will receive  P33,000 per seat plus the amount of the buy-in, the first of tourney was held last month at the Metro Card Club in Metrowalk, Ortigas Center in Pasig City.
