The Italian plan was patterned with that of the U.K. plan with respect to how the entities that do business in Italy are regulated. French authorities have arrested two executives of a prominent online betting company on Friday. Manfred Bodner and Norbert Teufelberger are two leaders of Austrian online bookmaker, Bwin. They were apprehended during a press conference unveiling their sponsorship of a soccer team from Monaco.

BetandWin’s co-chief executives Manfred Bodner and Norbert Teufelberger have been detained this afternoon for questioning by French police. They were held for allegations relating to French gaming laws violations.
